    President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has submitted a bill on changing the country's constitution to the parliament. This bill bans military bases from hosting military groups within the international treaties framework, said representative of the Ukraine President in the Verkhovna Rada, Irina Lutsenko , reports 112.ua news website.

    The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that it had held naval aviation exercises in the Mediterranean Sea for pilots of its Black Sea Fleet. The Ministry’s press service reported that Ka-27PL helicopter crews and the patrol boat Yaroslav Mudry participated in the exercises.

  • Russia sends another batch of military equipment to Syria

    Russian large landing ship the Orsk was sighted in the Bosporus strait with military equipment on board, the Turkish Bosphorus observer Yörük Işık reported on Twitter. The ship appeared to be bound for the Syrian port city of Tartus.

    The Orsk is reportedly transporting BTR-80 armored vehicles, Iveco LMV armored cars, and Ural and KamAZ trucks to Syria.
