  • Kyiv: 11 assassination attempts on President Poroshenko were thwarted in 2018

    Chief of the Ukrainian State Security Administration Valeriy Heletey stated in an interview with Ukrainske Radio that in 2018, eleven assassination attempts on President Petro Poroshenko were thwarted. He did not specify any details.

    The Party Social and Political Platform of Nadiya Savchenko nominated her as a candidate for Presidency of Ukraine by unanimous decision, stated civil network OPORA on Saturday, January 26.

    The press service of the Ukraine Security Service or SBU identified and reported more than 300 pro-Russian social network accounts on Facebook and Twitter which SBU believes were created to intervene in the presidential elections in Ukraine in 2019.

  • Ukrainian Security Service: Three prisoners handed over to Kyiv in December were recruited by the LPR

    The counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has discovered that three out of the 42 prisoners from Luhansk who were handed over to Ukraine at the start of December had been recruited by the Luhansk People’s Republic’s (LPR) Ministry of State Security.

    The counterintelligence department of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has uncovered a network of Russian intelligence agents and arrested its leader, announced Volodymyr Nestyuk, head of the counterintelligence department, on Thursday December 27.
