Denmark demands that Ukraine create an Anti-Corruption court
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Anders Samuelsen, stresses the importance of the early establishment of an Anti-Corruption court, during a conference in Kyiv.
Samuelsen reported that before the conference he met with Prime Minister [of Ukraine] Volodymyr Groysman, who assured the continuation of reforms, in particular in the field of anti-corruption.
"It is important that the Supreme Anti-Corruption court is established and works... I hope to meet in Copenhagen on June 27 to discuss the reforms that you have achieved," he said.
The Minister noted that by that time a law establishing an Anti-Corruption court should have been adopted.
According to him, if Ukraine does not win on corruption reforms, it will lose the trust of the international partners and investments on their part. At the same time, he urged authorities to implement reforms for their citizens, but not for Europe.
Recall, on Tuesday, that Anders Samuelsen came to Ukraine on a working visit that will last until February 22nd.
