"The Russian President's participation is not planned," he noted.

The UN General Assembly will open on September 12th and will start discussions on general political issues during the week of September 19th.

It is also expected that US President Donald Trump will address the UN General Assembly and discuss the reform of the UN with the world leaders.

During the session, both Moldova and Ukraine intend to bring forward the necessity of UN intervention in conflicts with Russia in Transnistria and the Donbas. In addition, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will propose the introduction of peacekeepers to the Donbas.
