Iran uses Russia-supplied S-300 missile systems in the large-scale military exercises

S-300 surface-to-air missile, which were supplied by Russia, are being used in large-scale air defense exercises that began on Monday in the south of Iran.

The exercises will last for three days and will take place in the areas adjacent to the Persian and Oman Gulfs as well as the provinces of Khuzestan, Fars and Kerman.

According to Iranian media, Iranian Air Force, Navy and the Air Defense units of the Iranian Army will take part in these exercises.

Recently, Russia fulfilled a contract on the supply of the S-300 surface-to-air missile systems to Iran. According to Iranian media, some of the S-300 systems were deployed to the underground uranium enrichment facility of Fordow.
