It is not possible to enter Belarus with a passport from the self proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) or Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), as stated by Anton Bychkovsky, an official representative of the State Border Committee of Belarus, the Belarusian Telegraph Agency (BelTA) reported.
According to Bychovsky, it is possible to cross the border into Belarus only with documents that are recognized by international and bilateral agreements.

Russia’s recognition of passports to separate areas of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO) contradicts the Minsk agreements and such documents will not be recognized in the European Union.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree concerning the recognition of documents issued to citizens of Ukraine and stateless persons residing in the separatist-held Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
