  • Lithuania donates €255,000 worth of ammunition to Ukraine

    On February 6, the Lithuanian Government adopted a decree providing Ukraine with free ammunition worth €255,000, reported the press service of the Lithuanian Defense Minister.

    The ammunition was originally meant for Soviet-made assault rifles and machine guns that are no longer used by the Lithuanian Armed Forces.

    In the Almany Mires nature reserve in Belarus’s Brest Oblast, which borders with Ukraine, operations are underway to upgrade the roads, which could be used for military purposes, Charter 97 reports, citing a source in one of Ukraine’s ministries.

  • Interpol removes former Ukrainian President Yanukovych from the wanted list

    Interpol again removed the former President Viktor Yanukovych from the international wanted list, reports Ukrainski Novyny news agency with reference to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office. 

    "We request an arrest warrant, but they refuse. They consider it to be political persecution," said the press secretary of the Prosecutor General, Larisa Sargan.

  • Ukraine conducts military exercises in the Sea of Azov

    Ukrainian Coast Guards from the Joint Forces Operation and other Joint Forces units conducted military exercises in the Sea of Azov, reported Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine’s press center.

  • Poland to create Cyberspace Defense Forces

    Poland’s Ministry of National Defense is set to establish its own Cyberspace Defense Forces following the NATO's recommendations, announced  Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak.
