Ukrainians detained in Russia will receive $200 monthly
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree that pays $200 every month to Ukrainians detained in Russia. The amount of payment will be counted based on triple subsistence level. The payment scheme is named after the Ukrainian dissident, fighter against Russian language in Ukraine Levko Lukyanenko.
The right to receive such payments will be given to “Ukrainian citizens who are illegally detained by Russia.”
