Ukrainian court sentences Russian to 15 years in prison for fighting in Donbas
Ruslan Gadzhiev, a Russian citizen who fought for the Luhansk People’s Republic LPR as a tank crew member in the “August Battalion”, was sentenced to 15 years in prison by a court in Ukraine.

Today, September 3, the Ukrainian Parliament approved the removal of parliamentary immunity provision from the Ukrainian Constitution.
373 Ukrainian MPs voted in favor of the bill. The bill comes into force on January 1, 2020.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has removed former Chief of General Staff Viktor Muzhenko from the Armed Forces of Ukraine entirely. The general’s dismissal was motivated by “organizational activities”.

Russia and Ukraine could use a new approach to criminal cases in their prisoner exchange, the newspaper Kommersant reported, citing a source close to the negotiation process.
