US Congress approves $250 million in military aid for Ukraine
On Thursday, September 19, the US Congress House of Representatives approved the allocation of $250 million to military assistance for Ukraine, reports the TASS news agency.
The military aid for Ukraine was stipulated in a bill on the temporary financing of federal government until November 21.
The document states that the allocation of funds to Ukraine will be continued in the new financial year, which begins on October 1 in the US.

Ukraine budgets $10 billion for defense in 2020
The Ukrainian government has allocated more than 245 billion hryvnia (around $9.9 billion) to national security in the draft budget for 2020, said Ukrainian Finance Minister Oksana Markarova, as cited by UNN.

Ukraine’s Chief of General Staff Ruslan Khomchak has decided that special divisions will henceforth devote 70% of their training time to operating at night, announced Ihor Podolyan, First Deputy Head of the Chief Training Directorate.

Kyiv will be able to create a "powerful" anti-ship cruise missile next year, stated Valentin Badrak, Head of the Ukrainian Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies.
