The Military Prosecutor's Office of the Central Region of Ukraine asked the court to sentence the country’s ex-President Viktor Yanukovych to fifteen years imprisonment on charges of state treason, Channel 112 Ukraine reports.

Yanukovych files lawsuit against Ukraine's Prosecutor General Lutsenko
Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych filed a claim with the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv against the Prosecutor General of Ukraine, Yuriy Lutsenko "to protect honor, dignity and business reputation and to counter false information", as stated on the court’s website.

The Obolonsky Court of Kyiv will question the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, as a witness in the state treason case against the fugitive former President, Viktor Yanukovych, on February 21st, as reported by prosecutor Ruslan Kravchenko to UNN news outlet.
