Ukraine receives another shipment of South African coal
On Sunday, July 23, the bulk carrier Zhao Yaung Feng arrived at the port of Yuzhniy with 75,000 tons of anthracite coal, the second batch ordered by the Donbas Fuel and Energy Company’s (DTEK) holding in South Africa, reported the press service of DTEK Energo.
The coal is intended for Pridneprovska and Krivyy Rig Thermal Power Plant (TPP), which now operate one unit each. As of July 23, the stations hold anthracite reserves of 110,000 and 90,000 tons respectively.

The coal mined in along the demarcation line in eastern Ukraine can be delivered to Turkey through Russia, as announced by the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, Igor Nasalik.
