    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko is scheduled to pay an official visit to the Republic of Turkey on March 9th and 10th.     A joint military exercises of the Naval Forces of Ukraine and Turkey have been completed in the Sea of Marmara as reported by the Naval Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.

  • Turkey to give uniforms and equipment to Ukrainian Army

    The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers approved a draft agreement with the Turkish Government on gratuitous transfer of clothes and military uniforms to the Armed Forces of Ukraine worth an overall amount of about $810,000. Order Number 140 to that effect was published on the government’s website on March 2nd.

  • Resolution on Armenian Genocide sparks lively debate in German Bundestag

    Yesterday in the Bundestag (Parliament) of Germany a resolution on the Armenian Genocide as proposed by the Green Party, was discussed.

  • Russia to construct gas pipeline under the Black Sea

    Russian company Gazprom, Italian company Edison and Greek company DEPA have signed an agreement to transport gas from Russia to Europe via a route under the Black Sea, as stated in a press release by Gazprom.

    The Russian company emphasized that the parties were interested in natural gas supply routes from Russia to Greece, as well as from Greece to Italy.  The results of work carried out by Edison and DEPA under the ITGI Poseidon project will be used “to the fullest extent” for these purposes. …

  • Russia terminates all arms agreements with Turkey

    Russia terminated its military-technical cooperation with Turkey, as was reported to Interfax by Vladimir Kozhin, MTC (Military-Technical Cooperation) Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.
