    The Supreme Court of Ukraine allowed seizing shares of Russian financial institutions as compensation for the annexation of the Crimea, the press service of the Court reported.

  • France provides Ukraine with a $64 million loan to upgrade water supply system in Mariupol

    On Tuesday, Ukraine signed a contract with France for a line of credit to complete the project of providing water in Mariupol. 

    The loan in the amount of 64 million euros is allocated for 30 years with a 10-year grace period. The Ukrainian government’s press service indicated that the rate would be 0.08% per annum.

  • Kyiv: Ukrainian Armed Forces to receive 20 new types of weapons in 2019

    In 2019, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry is planning to provide 20 new weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Those plans are specified in the state defense procurement program for this year, said Defense Minister Stepan Poltorak.

  • OSCE prepares new peace plan for the Donbas

    In an interview with the newspaper Kleine Zeitung, the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairmanship in Ukraine and the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk, Martin Sajdik said that the OSCE Ministerial Council had been presented with a new peace plan for the Donbas conflict, which should replace the Minsk agreements.

  • Ukrainian Joint Forces Commander warns of imminent Russian offensive

    The Czech Republic is investigating the involvement of at least 10 of its citizens in combat in support of the so-called Luhansk and Donetsk People’s Republics (LPR & DPR) in eastern Ukraine.

  • Kyiv: 6,500 Russians were denied entry into Ukraine in 2018

    The press representative of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, Oleh Slobodyan, said in an interview with Espresso TV that the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine refused entry to 6,500 Russians last year. He added that the number has increased compared to 2017.
