• Ukrainian Intelligence: Russia deployed additional military equipment to Khartsyzk and Ilovaisk

    Russia has transported weapons, military equipment, ammunition and fuel to pro-Russian militants in the occupied Donbas region, according to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

    The Ministry had recorded the arrival of these supplies to Khartsyzk and Ilovaisk.

    Khartsyzk had received three T-72 tanks, five BMP infantry fighting vehicles, two 152-mm self-propelled howitzers, six 122-mm D-30 howitzers, 120 tons of fuel and two cars carrying uniforms.

    A joint military exercises of the Naval Forces of Ukraine and Turkey have been completed in the Sea of Marmara as reported by the Naval Forces of Ukraine on their Facebook page.

    "A detachment of ships of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine consisting of the frigate Hetman Sahaidachny and the degaussing ship Balta have completed joint exercises with a frigate of the Navy of the Republic of Turkey in the Sea of Marmara on the 7th of March," the message stated.

  • Ukrainian Intelligence: Russian representatives arrive in Donetsk to determine source of information leak

    The Southern Military Command of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation arrived in the separatist-occupied region of Donetsk.  This was reported on the 6th of March by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

    Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko urged the leaders US and EU to increase pressure on Russia in order to secure the release of imprisoned Ukrainian pilot, Nadiya Savchenko.

    "Ukraine has sent a letter to the EU and the US to increase pressure on Russia to release Nadiya Savchenko," Poroshenko wrote on his Twitter page on Monday.
