Ukraine’s transmission system operator Ukrenergo has disconnected the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from power grid due to the actions of the Russian troops occupying the plant, reported Ukrenergo’s the press service.
"As a result of the hostile actions of the Russian occupiers, the Chernobyl nuclear power plant has been completely disconnected from the power grid! Hostilities continue, which makes it impossible to do repair work and resume power supply," the statement reads.

Poland to hand over fleet of MiG-29s to US, presumably bound for Ukraine
The Polish government has announced that it is ready to give its entire fleet of Soviet-era MiG-29s to the US. The fighters, numbering 29, are to be flown to a US airbase in Germany, where they will presumably be shipped to Ukraine.

Russian MVD accused of beating detained anti-war protestors
The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has been accused of abusing detained anti-war protestors, Novaya Gazeta reported. The March 6th protests that were held in 65 cities throughout Russia resulted in the arrest of more than 5000 protestors. More than 30 detainees have reported physical abuse during interrogation.
The accusations surface after an audio recording of the interrogation of a 26-year-old Muscovite, Alexandra Kaluzhskikh, circulated online, drawing condemnation.

A Major General of the Russian Army Vitaly Gerasimov was killed near Kharkiv by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.

Hospital in Kharkiv region destroyed

A hospital in the Ukrainian city of Izium was destroyed by the Russian military, according to the city’s Deputy Mayor, Volodymyr Matsokin. On Tuesday, Matsokin uploaded several photos and a video to Facebook showing the ruins of the city’s central hospital.
“It was probably another secret NATO base,” Matsokin sarcastically noted the social media post.
