The Russian rouble has fallen to 1998 levels
The Central Bank set a record U.S. Dollar rate against the Ruble. The American currency has reached an historic high. On Tuesday, December 15th, the Central Bank of Russia set the Dollar exchange rate against the Ruble at around 70.82 rubles. This was the highest rate for the U.S. currency since 1998. At a press-conference in Kiev with the President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, the Polish President Andrzej Duda stated that Poland wanted Ukraine to attend the next NATO summit in Warsaw.

Ukrainian intelligence reports have suggested that the commander of the pro-Russian 2nd Motorized Rifle Brigade in eastern Ukraine, Colonel Nefedov, is in fact Russian Army Colonel Andrey Ruzinskiy. This information was disclosed in the Chief Directorate of Intelligence's report on Tuesday.

Ukraine to file new human rights complaint; Russia rejects ECHR
