  • Kyiv vows further international sanctions against Russia over Crimean Bridge

    Ukraine will ensure that international sanctions are introduced against the companies and persons who participate in the construction of the Crimean bridge, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced.

  • Russia postpones final work on the Crimean bridge until the end of 2019

    On April 30, the Russian government issued an order to extend till December 1, 2019 the contracted work on the safety of the transport crossing over the Kerch Strait-the Crimean Bridge, the newspaper Kommersant reports.  

    This decree also modifies the schedule for the implementation of automobile security of the approaching lanes from Kerch and Taman: changing from April 30, the date will now be postponed until September 30.

  • Seven Dutch companies under investigation for supplying equipment toward construction of Crimean bridge

    Interfax, citing Western media, reports  that the Dutch Prosecutor's Office has launched investigations into seven Dutch companies suspected of violating EU sanctions against Russia.

    "An investigation is under way regarding the alleged relationship of seven Dutch firms to the construction of a bridge connecting Russia and the Crimea," the Prosecutor's Office said in a statement.
