Ethnic Ukrainian becomes head of the Canadian Army
Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Roman Washchuk wrote on Twitter that ethnic Ukrainian Paul Wynnyk has become the new commander of the Canadian Ground Forces.
“Lt. Gen. Wynnyk, the grandson of Ukrainian immigrants from Stryi, took command of the Canadian Army,” the Ambassador wrote.

Russian state-run TV channel Russia Today is organizing a trip for foreign journalists to visit the annexed Crimea. The visit is scheduled for the 16 of July.
