DPR claims to have trade with Spain, Italy and France

In an interview with the Union TV channel, Minister of Revenues and Duties of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Aleksandr Timofeev said that the DPR trades with European states.

“As of today, we are trading not only with the Russian Federation and Asia. As of today, we are trading nicely with Europe – with Spain, Italy and France. We are trading with them. I can’t get into the details, since their inspection authorities would arrive at their facilities tomorrow,” Timofeev stated.

Aleksandr Kazakov, advisor to the head of the DPR, said earlier that Italian equipment had been used to launch the Yuzivka Metallurgical Plant.

Aleksandr Zakharchenko, head of the DPR, also claims that companies in the separatist-held territories are bypassing sanctions and working with “European partners”.
