Klimkin: Russia and Ukraine are in a state of war

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin stated that Ukraine is at war with Russia, UNIAN Reports. “We should understand the reality, and this reality is that we are at war with Russia. But this was the war for the collapse of the empire,” he said.

Klimkin noted that there are millions of Ukrainians in Russia who go there to earn money or visit their relatives. That is why he is reluctant to support the initiative to terminate passenger traffic with Russia. The Minister stressed that the current problem should not be addressed through political slogans.

Klimin did not answer the question of whether he is against the termination of railway traffic directly. He stated that it should first be determined how the restrictions would be controlled.

Earlier, the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine offered to terminate railway traffic between Russia. On August 16, Minister Volodymyr Omelyan stated that he signed the document that would ensure “only bears will go to Russia.”
