The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia filed a case against Deloitte's representative office in Russia
The Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia (FAS) filed a case against Deloitte and Touche CIS ZAO (Deloitte Representative Office in Russia) for failure to submit documents upon request.
According to the press service of the agency, in March, as part of the antitrust case on the cartel at the auction of the GAS "Vybory" (automated information system), the FAS requested information necessary for the full and comprehensive examination of the case, which the company did not provide. The company faces a fine of up to 500,000 rubles (8.8 thousand USD).
"We hope that, as part of this new case, the company will comply with the urgent request of the antimonopoly authority and submit the requested documents and information," the head of the FAS department for combating cartels, Andrey Tenishev said.
