Ukrainian Motor Sich JSC plans to manufacture helicopter blades for the Mi-24 military attack helicopter before the end of 2017, which previously had been purchased in Russia. This was stated at a press conference by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine Yuriy Brovchenko.
According to him, the company is currently testing blades that it manufactured on its own using its own funding and that of foreign investors.
Motor Sich’s design experts, together with the Sate Design Bureau Luch have already developed the attack version of the Mi-8MSB-V helicopter, where RK-2V "Barrier-V" anti-tank missiles will be installed.
