Yatsenyuk: Ukraine's political crisis was created artificially
Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said the current political crisis in the country was created artificially, according to Glavnoe.
Yatenyuk’s words came during a television program entitled “10 Minutes with the Prime Minister”.
“The current political situation in the state is artificial. This is not just my assessment, but it is also the opinion of many respected world leaders, and professionals,” Yatsenyuk stated.
According to him, there is no rational reason behind the current crisis. "Its ideological basis is the absurd obsession with ratings and the shaky hope baseless political projections," he added
"The main task of the government is to pull Ukraine out of the abyss, and this requires exceptional mobilization… I am convinced that there is no other recipe,” the Prime Minister concluded.
Yatsenyuk recently survived a vote of no-confidence after Ukrainian MPs voiced their dissatisfaction over the Cabinet’s work. The vote came hours after Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko asked Yatsenyuk to resign, saying that the public had lost trust in his ability to fight corruption.
The Head of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, Natalya Jaresko, is rumored to become the next Prime Minister.
