Ukrainian politician: all civil organizations in Russia are working to destabilize other countries

Interfax-Ukraine reports that the Minister of Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons  Vadym Chernysh is confident that not only Russian intelligence services but also civil organizations work on destabilizing situations in other countries.

“There, all civil organizations have the goal of destabilizing and influencing certain countries and societies,” stated the minister at the “Lessons from a hybrid decade: what you need to know to move forward successfully” conference in Kyiv.

In connection with this Chernysh noted that concerning cybersecurity from the view of international law there are many holes. According to him, all international conventions on security were made before the world was confronted with the challenges of modern technologies. This, as the minister believes, creates the notion that “there is no border that Russia crossed.”

Earlier, at the same conference, the former Ukrainian Prime Minister Yevhen Marchuk as the representative of Ukraine in the Trilateral Contact Group’s working subgroup on security stated that problems between Ukraine and neighboring countries could be attributed to Russian special services.
